We have now consolidated our investment account, and have started to align the aid we give to children with the income generated by those investments. We are pleased to have been able to give a child in the Philippines medical attention which helped save his life. We have made progress in resolving our dispute with Barclays Bank – we are confident we will reach an agreement with them in 2022. We have signed a contract with Non Profit Growth who will write grant applications for us. There is no risk to our charity, as they have guaranteed to refund us their fees in the event that they do not raise for us more than we have paid them. Principal accounting policies. The following Accounting Policies have been applied consistently in dealing with items which are considered material in relation to the Charity´s Financial Statements. BASIS OF ACCOUNTING. The Financial Statements have been prepared under the Historic Cost Convention. 2. * An item of expenditure is mentioned of the sum of 3000.32 GBPounds. This was a payment to Non Profit Growth, for them to write grant applications for us. If Non Profit Growth´s efforts fail to raise at least 3000.32 GBPounds for us over the next 2 years, this sum will be returned to us. There is therefore zero risk to our charity.
