The charity also worked<br>alongside the local school’s HSA.<br>Regular events such as crafting and badminton<br>have been launched previously.<br>The knowledge gained by interacting with<br>people who have backgrounds is then|

## **Achievements and Performance**

|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|At a meeting on 24 April 2023 the Trustees<br>decided to wind down the operations of the<br>charity and spend all remaining funds on a<br>cause that fell within the objects of the charity.<br>The trustees agreed that the funds should be<br>spent on a project that would enable the key<br>objects of the charity to be carried forward by<br>Hall Green Infant School and the Quakers, both<br>of whom had been supportive of the charity<br>and had worked with it previously on achieving<br>its aims.<br>The chair of MAF is remaining as a single<br>trustee to explore the possibility of keeping<br>open the charity and passing it on to another<br>group of trustees, possibly via the Create<br>Partnership Trust, a multi-academy trust<br>working with four schools in deprived areas of<br>Birmingham with pupils from mixed<br>demographic backgrounds.<br>The remaining funds have been duly paid out<br>to the School to help fund a programme of<br>peer mediation training for pupils, teachers<br>and parents provided by the Central England<br>Quaker’s Peacemakers Project.<br>The Trustees were satisfied that they had<br>discharged their duties in accordance with<br>their statutory responsibilities and in<br>accordance with the charity’s constitution and<br>governing documents by taking this course of<br>action.|

All bar one of the trustees (the Chair) have resigned.  Steps are being taken to ascertain whether any individuals wish to take over as charity trustees, or whether another organisation/group has individuals who want to take over at trustees, and if so they will be appointed by the one remaining trustee under the powers in Clause 9(3) of the Charity’s (CIO) Constitution. No steps will be taken wind up/dissolve the Charity under Clause 29 of the Charity’s (CIO) Constitution, prior to confirmation of whether another group of trustees wishes to take over. If not, the charity will voluntarily wind up under Clause 29, its assets having already been applied by the trustees in accordance with the terms of the Constitution and the objects of the Charity, as set out above.
