donations of £113,096 (2024: £148,805).
Some of the bigger donations made during
the year are described below: -
Funds were donated to Friends of Baale
Mane Gopalapura which is a UK registered
charity which exists for the sole purpose of
supporting Baale Mane.Baale Mane is a
member of Keeping Children Safe (KCS).
KCS
is
an
independent
not-for-profit
organisation. They set out internationally
recognised child safeguarding standards
that ensure all organisations working
directly
for
and
with
children
have
comprehensive safeguarding measures in
place. Their independence means that their
standards and advice are not influenced by
any other organisation or government. As a
member, Baale Mane is committed to
protecting children by developing and
promoting the KCS International Child
Safeguarding Standards.
During the year, funds were also donated to
Great Ormond Street Hospital Children
s
Charity which is a UK registered charity
which undertakes fundraising activities in
order to invest in development, research
and
innovation,
welfare
and
clinical
development projects, medical equipment
and capital infrastructure, all of which will
enhance Great Ormond Street Hospital's
ability to transform the health and well-being
of children and young people.
Funds were also donated to a charity known
as Medecins Sans Frontieres (UK) which is
a UK registered charity to relieve and
promote the relief of sickness and to provide

medical aid to the injured and to protect and preserve good health by the provision of medical supplies, personnel and procedures calculated to overcome disease, injury or malnutrition in any part of the world in accordance with the principles espoused by the International Council of Medecins Sans Frontieres in October 1990. The foundation has also donated funds to the British Heart Foundation in order to help those affected by heart and circulatory diseases. During the year to 5 April 2025, the Shrinivas/ Usha Charitable Trust had also donated funds to various other charities for charitable purposes.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended05 / 04 / 2024.
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
(“the Act”).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
