Funds were also donated to a charity known as Asia Initiatives. Their mission is to leverage the power of social capital to promote healthcare, education and sustainable development in under-served communities. With a particular focus on women and their families, Asia Initiatives utilise transformative methodologies and

technologies to empower people to realise
their full potential.
In addition, funds were also donated to a
charity known as Global Education Fund.
Global Education Fund is committed to
helping children see possibilities beyond
what they experience every day and they
work to give children the opportunity to
make a difference in their lives and
communities. Through education, Global
Education Fund envisages all children
having access to the greater world and an
opportunity to participate in it. Global
Education
Fund
invest
in
strong
entrepreneurial leaders who are grounded
in their local cultures and are driven to
improve educational outcomes and sustain
their impact.
The foundation also donated to a charity to
a known as the Sylvia Wright Trust, which is
a registered charity which supports the work
of Sylvia Wright in the Indian State of Tamil
Nadu. Sylvia, a nurse from Leeds in the UK,
sold her home and possessions in 1982, to
work relentlessly and courageously among
the sick and disabled in this very poor area
of India. Over the years Sylvia built and
established a 180 bed charity hospital, a
residential school for 200 profoundly deaf
children, two day centres for 80 severely
disabled children, a Nursing College for 60
students
as
well
as
running
many
community health projects.
In addition, funds were also donated to a UK
registered charity known as Dream a Dream
UK Limited. This charity helps give support
to
young
people
from
vulnerable
backgrounds in Bangalore, India in their life
skills and career connect programs.
The foundation has also donated funds to
the British Heart Foundation in order to help
those affected by heart and circulatory
diseases.
Funds were also donated to a charity known
as the Oxford University Development Trust
Fund. The objectives of the University of
Oxford Development Trust Fund are to
promote,
assist
and
secure
the
advancement
of
education,
learning,
teaching, scholarship and research at or in
connection with the University of Oxford, its
colleges and societies.
During the year, the Shrinivas/ Usha
Charitable Trust had also donated funds to
