Activities

Thailand elephants raise awareness of ethical elephant tourism and support elephant and mahout welfare. Our campaigning work targets tourists visiting Thailand, guiding them to choose to support ethical elephant venues. We campaign mainly through events and social media to reach large audiences, working closely with ethically run venues in Thailand.

Objects: Ôfor The Benefit Of The Public To Relieve The Suffering Of Captive Elephants By Promoting Ethical Treatment And A Higher Quality Of Welfare Standards, In Particular Elephants Working In Tourist Attractions In Thailandöôto Advance The Education Of The Public In Matters Pertaining To Animal Welfare In General And The Prevention Of Cruelty And Suffering Among Animals, And In Particular To Educate The Public And Tour Operators In The Conservation, Protection, And Improvement Of Elephant Welfare In Captivity, And In How Responsible Tourism Can Contribute Towards Improving The Welfare Of Captive Elephantsöôto Promote Humane Behaviour Towards Animals, And In Particular Towards Elephants In Captivity, By Providing Appropriate Care, Protection, Treatment And Security For Animals Which Are In Need Or Care And Attention By Reasons Of Sickness, Maltreatment, Poor Circumstance Or Ill Usage, Including By Providing Grants To Projects Meeting This Objective.ö
