Para 1.20 We took in 7 captive bred birds this year These
came from homes where they could no longer
be looked after.
We rescued 4 wild owls of which 2 (50%) were
nursed back to health and released back into
the wild. They were released as near as safely
possible to the place they were found. Some
were too badly injured so did not survive.
During this period we had the following visits:
9 Schools
2 Residential homes
12 Groups and Events
2 Home Education visits to the Sanctuary.
No holds and visits were done during the Avian
Flu restrictions from 29 Nov 2021 to 15 Mar
2022.
We continuing to improve the site for our
visitors and the Owls. We do not perform flying
displays with our birds.
