The activities of the Holme Reading Room Trust are to distribute funds, in support of community groups within the parish of Holme, Cambridgeshire or directly for the benefit of the parish in compliance with the Charity Commission Scheme.

Objects: (1) The Objects Of The Charity Are, For The Benefit Of The Public:(a) The General Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of The Area Of Benefit In Such Charitable Ways As The Trustee Thinks Fit;(b) The Preservation And Maintenance Of The War Memorial Situated In The Area Of Benefit.(2) The Property Identified In Part 2 Of The Schedule To This Scheme Must Be Retained By The Trustee For Use For The Object At Sub-Clause 1(b) Above.“the Area Of Benefit” Means The Parish Of Holme, Cambridgeshire.
