2025 was our bu5iestyear since records be8an. We saw 31J)O patients, withjurt under 3500 dinical enquiries
between them, and delivered 2790 dinical consultations. PrO￿dIng a performirrf art5-focused clinical
assessment to creattve pra¢tltioner5 is the core of our worL and it was good to be able to help so many
people. Towards the end of 2025 we 58w a slight drop in the number of pahents presentin8 wlth a mental
health i55ue, and a grow5ng number pres•ntln8 Wtth a musculoskeletal orvocal health problem.
Most of our dinlcs ar• Onllne whlth enables U5 to aSse55 performers wherever they are In the UK wlth
minlmum walt. We commlt to offerin8 a face to face follow up and hold cllnlcs In Northern Ireland, Wales.
Scotland, thè North East and North West of England, Yorkshlre and the Humber as well as the West and East
Mldlands. Over 55% of patlents are from outslde London. and we are pleased that we be acce5s1ble to
the national populatton In thls way. We have Specialist practitloners all over the Country and provide
contlnuing professlonal development se551ons to enable everyone to have access to recent evld*n¢* from
Jpecialists in performlni arts InediGine. The number on our Dirertory stsnd5 at 313, aibd iiifui iiiatlui) dlJ()u¢

Our mèntsl health Se￿Ce contlnues to attract support. Equlty renewed thelr contract for counselllng to
members whose mental hèalth problem was taused by the workln8 envlronment. The Royal Varlety Charlty
and Dance Prolesslonals Fund a150 contract wlth us to provlde therapy. The Musl¢ Mlnds Mattel. therapv
hemt, whlch was SLtth a support to musicians, unfortunately stopped offering this seThlee from the •nd of
2025. We have been worklng with the Royal Society of Muslclans, PRS Mem￿r5 Fund, PPL and the
Christoper Meredlth FoUnda￿l)n to look at how to sustaln fundingto support the mentsl health of musl¢lans.
We have been worklnq closely wlth Ttsnlc Muslc and Muslc Supwjrt t¢i iindprstand hnw ran h•tt•r
¢ollaborate across our provlslon and Dr Arun Castro, our GP has been cOntrfbu￿n8 to Muslc Support's
Mul￿dISCIplInary Team aSses￿￿ents. Thls Is a 4try PQsltlve development. In all we have worked wlth Just
over 900 mental health patlents th15 year and dellvered over 18th) counsel11￿ sessions.
Feedb•ckfrom our patlents contlnuests show a hl8h level of s•ttsfartlon. Our annual suryey of patlents seen
12 months a80 shows that 78% of patlents are back to perfornilng wthln thls pèriod and 84% sald we had
helped. 92% of patyents were satisfied wlth walttng ts'mes. ainlcal ad￿¢¢, manner and knowledge was rated
as'8¢Jod or'excdlenv by 97% of perf¢)rmers, and 99.3% said they would recommend BAPAM to a collea8u¢.
Our r*lat5¢nshlp wlth our partners has beèn stron8 ov*rthls perlod. We worked hard to support Muslc Mlnds
Matter when they had to Stop thelr funding of menAI health assessment and therapy, mana8ln8 pattents
afferted to support them to alterna￿v*fUndlng and pro￿ding athiceto Help Muslcians as needed. Our work
with the Musicians, Ur*ion too. has 8on• from Étr•rtgth to str•nwth and w• w•r• very touthed by ih•lr k5nd
dona￿0￿ of E13k to support U5 over the transltlon perSod. PRS Members Fund also klndly gave u5 £IOk as
donatlon for the same purpose. Thls was very much appredated. We have also ¢ontlnued to enjoy
productive workln8 relatfonshlp wlth the Royal So¢iety of Musicians. BAPAM prowdes dlnlcal advlce to thè
RSM to support the Trustees Sn thelr deti5ion-makin8 on •pplication5 received by musidans needing support
wlth health problems and collaborates with RSM on the delivery of health trainini which is very successful.
Our work with Equlty ha5 not only eTratAed us 5UPPOrt Equity members with health, but also to advise on the
health issuès for Immerslve theatre workers and to viork wlth the LGBTQ Workin8 Grovp on making health
services more accesslble. I would also like to thank the PPL 8oard for thelr ongoing flnandal support of the
work of BAPAM.
DUr[r￿ thls year, our heath educatlon programme Sligh￿Y reduced in numbers. Thls was due to the reduce
number of psychoeducatlon sesslons run by Muwc Mind5 Matter I"MMWI. However, we were delighted to
be able to support MMM by creatln£ new content for the pro6ramme whith they will now offer tht.msel¥es.

knowledge and understandlng of how to reduce work-related health probl*m5 in the performing arts.
The ac¢ount5 for &4PAM for the year to 31 Cttember 2025 ended the year wlth a surplus on unrestrlcted
funds of £192,842. Our year end unresttl¢ted resetves lafter assets) are £419.258. Thls Is an Improved
position on 2024 and now In Ilne wlth our res•Thes O1¢v.

unable to surtaln the s*r¥ltè Into 2026. representing a loss of future fundin8 of É450k per annum and thls
¢losed for therapy and assessment at the end of the year.
Our rela￿OnshIp wtth PPL has again been a great source of strength thls year thanks to the CEO land BAPAM
Chzirl, Peter Leathem, who as well as providin8 us with much needed fundlng, including fof training and
education has also 8lVtn 8enerou5 SUPP(Yt by enabling BAPAM to actess It8al, HR, IT and Communicatlons
expertlsèfrom the PPLsenlorteam. We arè also gratèful tothe PRS Members Fund for thelr ongolng flnanclal
suppo¢ and we have bèen delighted to work with them to deliver an onllne health prgmotion tool for PRS
Members.
