Para 1.20 2021- 2022:8th edition/yearof donation of stationeries.
We are now helping schools from the capital of
Senegal, the west and south of the country. For the
first time, we have managed to finalise our
environment project by building brand new bench in a
schools from plastic bags.
-- We have worked with a local artist in Senegal
named Boutikou Laye, this amazing singer has
created a song for our charity and made a nice 2mn
video: the song summarizes our 4 activities and all
the schools that we have helped since 2015. The
video is available on YouTube via the following link
https://youtu.be/2GmrP_O4QLQ?si=Xh7l3lDhH__tAfDy
- We offered the stationery to 5000 students registered
in 16 schools. More than 40,000 notebooks and pens
have been offered. A summary of a day donation in
different schools can be viewed via the following

recognition of the work we have been doing since 2015. In addition to the donation of stationeries, many schools have received computers, laptops, and projector to facilitate the training course with the students. We receive more and more request to help others local charities that are based in the country. Every single event they organise we are named as they sponsor: this is because we lead by example and they see us as 9years old charity role model. - The national basket team of team, via the players and the managers, did promote our charity for the 4[th] time by wearing our charity t-shirt before an official game. - The partnership we have signed with a national school dedicated to disabled children is going well. This year we have sponsored 15 disabled, by offering the equivalent of GBP 100 each. Our donation covers the transport fees, food at schools and the registration fees for the 9 years’ scholarship month. Additional wheelchairs, stationeries and others equipment have been offered to the disabled students. - Our sponsoring program dedicated only the top student of each of the primary schools we support is also progressing well. We have increased the number of sponsored student from 22 to 33. They are now in secondary schools and as always, we take care of their school’s registration fees and pay the entire stationeries for them: this represent an amount of GBP 100 per children/family. We have got the amazing surprise to know that one of the children, donate the stationeries we offer her to her next door neighbour who is one level below her at schools at the end of the scholarship year. Our learning from that is that we do have direct beneficiaries, but we are also help an entire area indirectly especially when the books we offered move from one family to another one year after year. - In term of marketing and visibility of our charity actions, our social media are still very up to date. Since last year we are partnering with 3 digital news company (Medina TV, Dak Medina and Medina Actu) that publish online all our event. - We did organise the 3[rd] edition of our mathematic and poetry competition where participants came from 9 of the primary public schools that we help. The completion involved poetry and maths. We worked with the local authority dealing with education to organise an event post completion were we gave prize to the top 3 of each competitions. This is another way to motivate the students to be excellent at schools. - We partnered with an international NGO named BIOFORCE. They sent to us 6 staff for an internship. We have send them to 3 schools to have regular talks with the students so that they won’t leave plastic bag on the floor. After 2 years of hard work, the student was able to get 95kg of plastic bags. The bag was stored in a plastic bottle that we have used to make bench for the schools: we go green

PUBLIC

- donation of Printer and ink to 3 schools. As well as donation of laptop and projector. - we renewed the partnership with the international company named BIC. They produce mainly pens, and all the pens we donated was bought from them with a very competitive price. They gave us 10,000 pens which helped us a lot

Financial Review

Financial Review
Review of the charity’s
financial position at the end
of the period
Para 1.21 At the end of each period, the trustees
will review all the expense and income,
analyse and understand the time of the
year where income are higher and take
strategic decision to limit the charity
financial cost. We have now built an
internal dashboard which allow quick
decision making. The dashboard helps
us to understand what activity cost us
more, why, and when (which month) do
we spend more money out, do we
receive more money in.
In addition to that we have analyse the
mains platform used by our donors to
donate to the charity and developed
more strategy to facilitate their donation
process.
All financial documents are available to
all charity trustees via a shared drive
that is accessible online. Our
accounting team who validate all
expenses will present to the trustees the
financial situation during the monthly
charity meeting. This is how we manage
the progress of our fundraising to
ensure we will have enough money to
cover all our donation.
Our action become a lot more visible
with the monthly newsletter that we
distribute in both English and French to
**more than 300 emails. **
Statement explaining the
policy for holding reserves
stating why they are held
Para 1.22 All decisions are always being based on
data driven analysis, discussed and
agreed to ensure the charity will follow
the right direction. we started with one
school in 2015, and we are now helping
16 schools. Most of the schools were in
the same area, in the capital but actions
are now expanded to others areas of the
countries. Our target for 2025, is to help
at least one school in each region of the
country. We are targeting a national
