This year the charity has endeavoured
to grow its membership
in both
junior and adult sections. The club has continued
to increase its presence
in the local road community
by running
an amateur
rowing event
in Bexley
alongside
Erith Rowing Club, which was again open to all British rowing
affiliated clubs. The club has additionally
expanded
the experience ofits
members
by entering cruise into row in events across the Southeast.
These range from at local events open to all, to more challenging
events
and those open to crews from across the world, such as the Head ofthe
River Race in London. The number of individuals
attending
races, and the
number ofwins have again increased.
Closer to home, the club has held a number ofevents that aim to develop
links with the local community
including
the schools indoor rowing
championships
and friendly
indoor rowing events with teams invited to
join from the PLA and the RNLL

The honorary treasurer each year recommends
that the charity endeavour
to hold approximately
f10,000 in reserves, wherever
possible
