We have not had any meetings after March of 2020, due to the beginning of the lockdown which began at that time. We complied with Government guidelines and stopped our monthly meetings. 

Our fundraising activities also stopped to ensure we protected our volunteers, and enabled social distancing procedures. In November of 2019, we held a Christmas Fayre, which was successful, in that it brought the community together with stalls and activities with a winter theme. This is reflected in the financial report. 

Our core activities involve the maintenance of the Community Garden at King’s Gardens. This is carried out by volunteers who maintain the gardens and install new plants within the confines of weather and seasons. This activity continued with mindful compliance of the guidelines laid out by Government. Attention was paid to the numbers and distancing of volunteers at any one time, and they all used their own tools. 

Despite the difficulties, we have maintained a very pretty garden, enjoyed by many. Tributes must be paid to those who have continued to give their time during these challenging times. Thankyou.
