Para 1.20 | FOD has become more formally established and recognised within the school with a focus on improved communications through use of noticeboards, the school’s website and having members from all years throughout the school. Events have been well supported and successful: The Dour Seasons Summer ball resulted in net proceeds to the charity of £49,013 which alongside other fundraising activities resulted in total net proceeds (before charitable donations), of £57,268 for the year ended 31stAugust 2024. FOD made donations totalling £6,377. This amount was made up of £1.5k each to Autistica, Drake Cancer Research, Wycombe Food Hub and Cook Diabetes UK. These Charities were selected by the pupils of Davenies. A further £20,000 is being held in a savings account for the development of a new Science building. |

The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the Statement of Recommended P and Reporting by Charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Stand UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) issued on 16 July 2014 and the Financial Reporting Standard ap Kingdom and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) and the Charities Act 2011 and UK Generally Accepted Pr from 1 January 2015.

Responsibilities and As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the basis of report accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have examiner's statement come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or
-
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
-
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
