For the benefit of the public, to relieve the suffering of equines, who may be old, neglected, abandoned or otherwise, in need of care and attention, and to provide and maintain rescue homes and other facilities for the homing, care and treatment of such equines.
We accept most volunteers to help at the sanctuary. The sanctuary benefits people by developing their self-confidence and social skills in a form of animal therapy and team work. There is also a sense of importance as they are responsible for the horses and ponies at the sanctuary. We welcome all young people over the age of 14, regardless of personal background, faith, gender or personal circumstances.
We hold fundraising activities to financially support the sanctuary, so that we can continue to provide and maintain rescue homes and other facilities for the homing, care and treatment of the horses and ponies that we have.
