Staying within in the public benefit guidelines of the charities commission, Wiping Tears set out clear objectives for the charity followed by clear methods to achieve them. 

- Divided our services into 4 clear divisions to streamline our objectives 

- Devised a 2 step acceptance method to establish if the individual is eligible for support 

- Have set out several policies to ensure transparency and set guidelines for the trustees to follow

2024 continued to be a tough year with the Cost of living crises, which **Summary of the main** impacted our fundraising efforts. **achievements of the charity during the year** Overseas, in Pakistan we supported 13 families, along with Ramadan Food parcels delivered to a further 100 households. This included 6 widows and 21 children’s education paid for.

We have divided our charity into 4 divisions<br>a) Basic human need support; such as food, shelter and clothes<br>b) Educational Funding – support children who want to learn but cannot<br>go to school due to the fees<br>c) Marriage Support – providing financial help to families/individuals who<br>can not afford to get married due to the costs involved<br>d) Medical funding – financial support for curable disease<br>2. No trustee, volunteer is paid or allowed to expense anything<br>3. All major running costs are picked up the trustees.<br>4. Before we agree to financially support anyone we follow a 2 step<br>guide. 1. Our volunteer visits the person and interviews them,<br>investigates the authenticity of the situation<br>2. The chairman than also interviews to establish if this person is eligible.<br>Once we are satisfied than we agree to support them.<br>To avoid a person becoming completely reliant on us (with exceptions)<br>we give them an initial time frame for which we will support them<br>(generally 6 months – varies case by case). Every 3-6 months we carry<br>out a review through visits and interviews to determine the next steps|
