THE K WOODS FOUNDATION IS A WIRRAL BASED CHARITY PROVIDING SUPPORT TO INDIVIDUALS LIVING WITH DEMENTIA, AND THEIR CARERS. WE PROVIDE A DROP-IN SOCIAL SUPPORT GROUP, THIS IS OUR ACES GROUP. THE GROUP PROVIDE FREE ACTIVITY AND COGNITIVE ENGAGEMENT AND SUPPORT FOR BOTH THE INDIVIDUAL WITH DEMENTIA, AND THEIR CARERS. THROUGH THIS SERVICE WE CAN ASSESS THE PROVISION OF SHORT RESPITE BREAKS IF REQUIRED.
