TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS OF SAPCOTE AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, THE PROVISION OF A PUBLIC LENDING LIBRARY FOR RECREATION AND/OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES OR FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF THE LIFE OF THE SAID RESIDENTS.

**Activities:** Volunteers manage and operate the library service for the residents of Sapcote, Sharnford and the wider community with additional services being encouraged to make the facility into a broader educational and social resource to benefit residents of all ages.
