Introduction:
Slough Development and Education Centre is pleased to present the annual trustee report for the year ending 09/12/2023. This report outlines the activities, challenges, and financial status of our charity during a year marked by significant changes and the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Charity Aims:
Slough Development and Education Centre exists to further or benefit the residents of Slough and the neighbourhood, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race, or of political, religious, or other opinions. We aim to achieve this by associating together the residents and local authorities, voluntary and other organizations in a common effort to advance education and provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation.
Financial overview:
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, our charity experienced a decline in donations and membership contributions throughout the year. These unforeseen circumstances placed additional financial strain on our organization. Despite these challenges, we remained committed to serving the community. During this period, we did not receive any external funding or support, which added to the financial Challenges

In the face of continued challenges posed by the long lasting effects of the pandemic, we remain committed to our mission. Although as a charity we have been unable to be active in the capacity we set out to be, as we move forward we aim to:
