The Hub Annual report 2023-2024 I am happy to report that it has been a good year for the hub overall. Good progress has been made in many areas and following some difficult years throughout covid we find ourselves in a much more positive position. The Hub has been repainted externally and the main hall internally. A new Hub for Hire sign placed by entrance doors On going repairs, maintenance and serving of appliances and building. A new booking system has been introduced, going live on 1/4/25,replacing the previous very complicated system. Two fund raising groups have been formed to raise funds for maintenance of hub for which we are very grateful. Successful events held to raise funds- details to follow. Sadly two trustees have stood down for personal reasons. We have gained an associate trustee to do the secretarial work and hopefully will have another one join shortly. A new cleaner, odd job man has recently been taken on and is doing a very good job inside and out. I would like to record my thanks to the three parish councils for their financial contributions and particularly Huntingfield PC for their support.
