The financlal statements have been prepared under the hlstorlcal cost convenllorb, modffied to Include the
revaluation of freehold properties and to include inveslmenl properties and certaln financkl InStr￿￿ents at
falr value. The prlnclpal 4ccount5n8 polkles adopted are set out below.

At the time of approvln8 the financial statements, the Trustee5 have a reasonable expectatlon that the
Charlty has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Thus the
Tru5tee5 continue to adopt the goi￿ concern basis of accounting in p￿Paring the financial ststements.
