Our transfers to Ekisa Uganda totalled £36,438 during the year. This was financed mainly by donations of £32,888 and fundraising of £3,505.
In planning activities for the year, the trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit.

Section D Achievements and performance
Summary of the main Whilst our donation levels are slightly down on the prior year (this is due achievements of the charity to a one-off large donation in 2023), we raised more money thanks to the during the year efforts of our fundraising team (£3,505 vs £2,092). This was from events such as the Pub Quiz, the Jazz Concert and the Christmas Fair and also from a campaign to raise money at St Bedes School, Cambridge.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/12/2024 . An audit of the accounts is not required in accordance with Part 16 of the Companies Act 2006.
Responsibilities and basis of report As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examiner's statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or

the accounts do not accord with the accounting records
