Section E Financial review The reserves at the end of the year totalled £93,490 and were in the current and savings bank account. (£8,800 from 2016, £4,778 from 2017, £920 from 2018 ,-£2999 from 2019, -£1578 from 2020 , £10,065 from 2021 , £18,926.04 from 2022, £18,314 from 2023 and £57,225 from 2024) Brief statement of the charity's policy on reserves Reserves were maintained at their level so as to ensure funds were readily available for renovation works to the charity building and facilities. It is my responsibility to.. examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act, to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 145{51(b) of the Charities Act, and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basls of Independent My examination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given examiner's statement by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accoLJnts, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters.
