**Activities:** The object of the CIO is to advance the education of children, adults and families by helping those experiencing difficulties in acquiring literacy skills. We aim to support children and adults to develop a genuine interest and love of reading for pleasure. We aim to develop and promote speech, language, communication, confidence, self esteem, literacy and strategies for learning in the home.
