Charity objects

1- To advance the Islamic religion in accordance with the teachings of Ahlulbayt (AS) in such ways as the trustees may from time to time decide.

2- To further or benefit the public without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions by association tighter the public and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisation in a common effort to advance education to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the public.

3- Such other purposes as are exclusively charitable in accordance with the Law of England and Wales as the trustees may from time to time decide.
Structure Governance and Management
Markaz Al-Taqwa Alislami is a charitable incorporated organisation and is governed by its governing document CIO foundation registered 25[th] May 2016.
The Charity employs three part-time members of staff who work together with the trustees to manage the day to day running of the organisation.
The charity also relies on volunteers to help with achieving the goals of the organisation.

Achievements and performance:

Islamic congregation with Father Rendell and Christmas Mass 2023. On Christmas Eve 2023, our charity people congregation set out to visit the local St Andrew’s Church in Kingsbury on Christmas Eve during the midnight mass service. The aim of this visit was to strengthen our relationship with the local community between the two Abrahamic faiths and to give the true picture of Islam and the respect we have towards people pf other faiths. The members were warmly welcomed by Father Rendell and the parish. Our charity members were grateful for the warm welcome they received in the church. The members of both congregations aim to visit each other in their religious places in the future due to the importance of interfaith social cohesion.

Weekly program on every Friday start on 10.45 am till 11.52am that start with reciting Quarn, Duaa Al-Nadba , Zayrat Imam Hussein than Juma Pray.

On Friday 10[th] June 2023 at 1.00 PM, the charity had organised an interactive Discussion on the necessity of the haj preparation led by Sayyid Qasim Jalali.

During 19-29 July at 2.00 PM, the charity held a lecture on Ashura and Umam Hussein open for brothers led by Sayyid Mohammed Kassem Aljalali. Lunch served afterward.

The Charity held number of sessions of this year speaking out as Muslims through the year via Zoom on weekly basis. The programs were open to boys and girls aged 14-18 years old and focused on empowering the youth through public speaking exercises utilising important topics to strengthen their belief and knowledge.
Financial Review
- All resources received and expanded are treated as unrestricted funds.
Reserves
Reserves were held on meet the operational costs of the organization.

Accountant Report for The Year Ended 31 December 2023
In accordance with the engagement letter dated, and in order to assist you to fulfil your duties under the Companies Act 2006, we have compiled the financial statements of the Trust from the accounting records and information and explanations you have given to us.
This report is made to the director in accordance with the terms of our engagement. Our work has been undertaken to prepare for approval by the director the financial statements that we have been engaged to compile, to report to the trustees that we have done so, and to state those matters that we have agreed to state to them in this report and for no other purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept or assume responsibility to anyone other than the Trust and the Trustees for our work or for this report.
You have acknowledged on the balance sheet as at year ended 31 December 2022 your duty to ensure that the trust has kept proper accounting records and to prepare financial statements that give a true and fair view under the Companies Act 2006. You consider that the Trust is exempt from the statutory requirement for an audit for the year.
We have not been instructed to carry out an audit of the financial statements. For this reason, we have not verified the accuracy or completeness of the accounting records or information and explanations you have given to us and we do not, therefore, express any opinion on the financial statements.
