Thank you Another great year for chofhs, Rachel and dawn still leading the Friday night sections at brough Rachel holding youth nights also in Kirkby and tebay which have been a huge success but struggling for volunteers, Rachel is still going into the grammar school and listening to the children who just need to talk and support them as they go through difficult times . She took a group to knock , Keswick, church events and on trips, these were excellent and the children loved them. They won the high sheriff award this year along with some money, this I am extremely proud of them. Chofhs sponsored Molly to go off for a year to nyc , she is now back and loved her experience there. We are still working closely with the parish council and this year they have installed a outdoor gym, this has been fantastic for the youth and the community. We sadly said goodbye to Amelia who did a fantastic job with the safeguarding for chofhs and wish her well as she gets married this year. We welcome sue who will be taking over the role, she is a god send as she is specialist in this area. We welcomed Paul and Hayley to the team as trustees to chofhs this year. A huge thank you to all the trustees who help run chofhs . Melissa has taken over the cleaning and Gary has been busy with organising the new roof over the bay window and jobs inside the building thank you . We have finished with our donation from Amazon smile, still getting money off the coop, we raised money from the bingo and Easter stall , thank you for all involved. We have the post office and art group rent which is a great help, and Lesley's group is still running once a week.
