in accordancè with the Financial Reporting Stanrjard applicable in the UK and Republic of Irel8nd (FRS 102)

Objectlves and actlvltlos
The charivs objects are to relieve poverty particularly but not exclusively amongst home1&8s peoplo in Blackpool
and the surrounding area. The policies adopted in furtherance of these objects are to provlde human resou￿5,
buildings, facilitÉe8 and open space for people in need, to provide servlces together with 8dvocacy, advice and
information and there has been no change in these during the year.
The charity operates principalty by the prcvision of meals for the homeless and the provision of a safe space in
which to operate.
The tNstees have pald due regard to guidance issued by the Charity Commission in deciding what 8¢tlvitles the
charity should undertake.
Amazing Graze has been supportin9 Blackpool as a whole and contlonued t¢ $upport the homeles5 communty

In the current cost of living crisis, we have been supporting more peoiple in dlstressing situations and in ￿easIng

for our homeless community working via rehabilitation. private landlords and supported housing.
New links with the police diversion team in police custody have been established to support anyonbe homeless
on release.
Achievements and performance
The trustees are pleased to be able to report further significant growth in the ch8rity durlng the year as
mentloned earlier in the report.
Flnanclal rovlew
At the end of the p8riod the charity had unrestricted reserves of £993relating to the ccfe activit188 of the
organisation. Whllst the trustees aim to maintain 8Lrfficient reserves to enable the charlty to contlnue to operate
for between 3 and 6 month8 this has become incre85ingly challenging with the needs of the community
becoming more apparent.
It is the policy of the clwity that unrestricted funds which have not been designated for a specific use should b?
malntalned at a level equivalent to between three and six month's expenditure. The trustees consider that
reserves at this level will ensure that. in the event of a signlficant drop in funding, they will be able to continue th8
tharity's current a¢iivilies while consideration is given to ways in which additional fvnds may be ratsed.
The tru8tees hav8 assessed the major risks to which the charity is exposed. and are satisf18d that systems are in
place to mitigate exposure to the major risks.
