Para 1.20	The first stage of the restoration has been completed which involved maintenance on the whole building and the installation of a roof on the tower which means that it is now watertight. People in the ‘area of benefit’ can view the Stand close up from the adjacent public footpath (which has been regularly cleared and maintained by volunteers) and learn about its history via the website. Progress has been slow during the period due to trustee illnesses and lack of opportunities for significant funding.
