Core Mi$sion and Educational Support The West London Research & Public Aw8reness Society is committed lo providing free, supplementsry educational programmes for residents in the Uxbridge area. Our primary goal is to advance public education in the English language. 'Life in the UK,. and various ethnic languages. We fim)ly believe that robust language skills are loundational to fostering social cohesion, building strong interpersonal relationships, and empowering individuals lo achieve their Itfe goals. Delivered by dedicated communty members and volunteer teachers, our out-of- hours gducalional support serves as a crucial adVaCY and information hub for both adults and children. Our languag8 courses are sp8cifically designed to improve the English proficiency of those who face communication barriers. By raising aspirations and fy)osting engagement, these programmes aim to reduce instances of underachievement in both the classroom and the workplace. We also celebrated religious festivals. such as Eid, by hosting family days and communal meals to foster a sense of commuDty belonging. Summary ofthe maln achievements of the charity during the year Volunteers are an important source in community work. This year our Charity has achieved to reach over 800 Turkish speaking people in Uxbridge and surrounding cities. This helped us In¢aSe our number of volunteers who then helped us organise and conduct more ch8ritsble and fund-raising activilies than last year.
