**Objects:** THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INCLUSION AMONG THE BAMER COMMUNITY OF HACKNEY AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY, OR PARTS OF SOCIETY, AS A RESULT OF LIVING WITH OR BEING AT A GREATER RISK OF TYPE 2 DIABETES AND THE ASSOCIATED DISORDERS, DUE TO LACK OF AWARENESS OF SUPPORT AND UNWILLINGNESS TO SEEK HELP DUE TO CULTURAL DIFFERENCES, BY IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY: 1. PROVIDING EDUCATION AND INFORMATION TO SUPPORT AND ENABLE PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND THE ISSUES CONNECTED WITH TYPE 2 DIABETES;2. RAISING PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE ISSUES AFFECTING THE BAMER COMMUNITY IN RELATION TO THE PREVALENCE OF THE CONDITION AMONGST THE COMMUNITY;3. PROVIDING LEARNING PROGRAMMES AND WORKSHOPS TO ENABLE PEOPLE TO GAIN A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE CONDITION AND HOW IT AFFECTS THE COMMUNITY.

**Activities:** Facilitate group discussions, physical activities, healthier cooking skills for Black African, Caribbean Heritage & Global Majority Communities at risk/diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes through the voice of lived experience/knowledge of Peer Educators, Health Coaches/Practitioners to address life-style, nutrition, weight management etc, to reduce the onset of diabetes complications and poor health.
