Section C Objectives and activities

The promotion and advancement of the Muslim Islamic faith in Dewsbury and the surrounding areas, and shall abide by the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the prophet Muhamad (pbuh) as understood by the Deobandi Hanafi ahle sunnat wal jammaat school of thought in conducting all its affairs. By doing the following:

• to provide a place of worship for the Muslim Islamic faith in Dewsbury and the surrounding areas

The Trustees are responsible for the keeping of proper accounting records, which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and to enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Charity Act 2011. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the association and hence to take reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/05/2022 .

Responsibilities and basis of report

As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
