**Membership** is open to interested individuals accepted into membership by the trustees, following completion of a prescribed membership form.

## **Trustees**

The Foundation’s work is directed by a board of trustees, who approve the policy for the organisation but is in control of the main Director. The activities of the foundation are conducted and overseen by the trustees themselves who meet when required in order to determine the order of the projects for the children. That means to determine which project must come first and which one next. However it is important to clarify that all activities have been based on the collection of used cloths, toys and game boards for children.

During the year the activities should be managed by 4 trustees’ members in administration field, ideas, and seek for advice from other charities having the same aspiration like us. Then 4 other members have been added to the organisation so together 8 members who should end up with running the charity till now, May 2023 and continuously. No fundraising has been carried out but the internet provider must be paid and the bank taxes as well. Salicaf foundation has just collected clothing, children games, some board games and some children books. They have been sent to Ethiopia.

## **J-Conclusion**

In this year 2022-2023 Salicaf Foundation has not done much activities apart from collecting cloths, games and some books for children. Our next objective is to collect used computers and send them to children in schools so that they can know how to use computers. The fundraising is now very hard for us (Salicaf Foundation) because the Mosque where we used to do our fundraising has changed their management staff. The new management staff does not give chance to other charities apart from Yemen ones as there is serious problem in Yemen. For any enquiry please do not hesitate to contact us.

Salicaf Foundation 15 Thurnham Street Liverpool

L6 4AL 23/04/2023

The trustee members of Salicaf Foundation have written the annual return report since June 2023. It was impossible to upload it because the Charity Commission was reprogramming their website. We called the Charity Commission, and they made us aware of that. They told us that if their website is ready, they will let us know but they didn’t.

Concerning the financial return, we could not do any collection from Mosques as usual. The only donation we have received were items such as: Cloths and shoes that we sent over to children in Ethiopia and we have paid the shipping cost ourselves.

We paid monthly our website hosting cost ourselves.

That is why all the questions related to the finance are mentioned zero (0) in the boxes.

Toure Coubadja On behalf of the Trustee of Salicaf Foundation
