ABR TRUST AGM MEETING – ANNUAL REPORT 2021-22
Location – Victory Services Club, Seymour Street, London
In attendance: Chip Somers(CS). Lisa Climie-Somers(LCS) Christian Geelmuyden(CG) Observing; Ravi Holy(RH) Lucy Temple (LT)
-
Annual accounts – The Trustees expressed continued dismay at the fact that the charity has relied totally on the promise of substantial sums from the production, at no cost, of a promotional material package. As a result little else has been done. The Trustees however maintained a desire to persevere despite very disappointing results. There was a general consensus that we should now start looking elsewhere. CS stated that he would be keen to do and admitted having being too focused on just one scheme.
-
However there is now a finished promotional film that the Trustees feel will be worth persevering with.
-
LCS proposed that the accounts be accepted CG seconded this. CS was tasked with presenting them to the Charity Commission
-
CS proposed accepting the advertising agency offer of free promotion in the hope that it will eventually enhance the charity’s presence. This was seconded by LCS
-
It was proposed that LT and RH be made Trustees and CS proposed both and this was seconded by LCS.
-
CS instructed to make forms available at next meeting
-
In general, there was enthusiasm to continue, especially as it was felt that the need for ABR had grown over the last few years and anything however small would make a difference.
-
All Trustees were in full support of continuing and were hopeful that things will change for the better.
-
All Trustees committed to make the future of ABR a priority.
Signed : Chip Somers, Chairman of ABR Trust
