This letter is to confirm that Atlantic Whale and Dolphin Foundation was placed into a period of operational suspension during the financial year 2024–2025. 

During this period, the charity was unable to continue its usual activities due to a combination of operational difficulties and trustee illness. These circumstances affected the charity’s ability to maintain normal levels of activity and deliver its planned programmes. 

The trustees continued to act in the best interests of the charity throughout this period, ensuring that the charity’s affairs were appropriately managed while operations were paused. No significant charitable activities were undertaken during this time. 

The period of suspension allowed the trustees to review the charity’s position and consider the most appropriate steps for the future of the organisation. 

This statement is provided as part of the charity’s final reporting requirements and to explain the reduced or limited activity during the 2024–2025 reporting period.
