Summary of the main activities in relation to these objects

DACH aims are specifically around disability, education and diversity. One of its main directives is the promotion, support and conservation of Invalid Carriage history and vehicles. We will exhibit, promote and advise and support their owners (private and public) including curators of museums. Please see our website.

Achievements and performance

DACH has continued to support the CEO who has concluded his HLF Summary of the main Invalid Carriage project (delivered and arranged through his work at achievements of the charity Teesside University). New work with volunteers has been entirely online during the year however due to the pandemic. We have supported many owners who have acquired rare carriages during the period of the pandemic. We estimate this is because they are small to work on and take up less space and appear novel.

The Invalid Carriage Register of which Mckeown is also the voluntary Director. Existent for 25 years approx and DACH are continuing to evolve plans support this long term disability heritage project, which will include fund raising to achieve project targets. Please see www.invalidcarriagregistger.org The ICR has started to look for assistance, especially with regard to its archives. Note the charity incurred no expenditure or liabilities during this period

Financial review

No formal policy except other than through Minutes of Trustee Meetings Brief statement of the to use reserves to either keep running particular projects (as and when charity’s policy on reserves required if available funds) and to use reserves to act as partnership funding in leverage to gain other funding (and/or cover any small deficits in the delivery of any project DACH undertake).

Details of any funds materially in deficit

N/A.
