Appointed or Re-appointed Annually at the Annual General Meeting Summary of the obJertJves of the Charlty: 'Frlends' of Patrick Muthuri Family Foundation is a small Christian based Charity the prime purpose of which is to raise money in support of the Patrick Muthuri Foundation, Meru, to enable orphaned, disadvantaged children of Kijijoneand Meru- Kenya to attend Primary School from the age of seven until fourteen. Provide free sanitary care products via our 'Girls Always In School, project for the poorest, most vulnerable young girls attending Primary School. Summary of the main activities undertaken: Maintain 'Girls Always in School, in 20 Primary Schools providing free sanitsry products for the poorest, most at risk young girls. Consolidate our provision of Prirnary School education to 45 Orphaned/Disadvantaged children in 20 Primary Schools. mmary of the main achlevements of the charlty during the year: On 7th July 2024, a major fund- raising event was held to celebrate Patrick Muthuri's visit to the UK providing Patrick with the opportunity to meet as many existing 'Friends' as possible. The event was very successful in raising the avrenesS of Friends of Patrick Muthuri Family Foundation, generating additional donations, and importantly obtaining new'Friends.' As a result of our increased level of income we were able to fulfil our commitment to the provision of Primary School education for 45 children and provision of free sanitary products to 20 schools without having to dip into our reserves. January 2026 will see a step change in Kenyan Primary School education that whilst not impacting upon our prime objectives we do have to be aware of and plan accordingly for. Brief surnmary of the charities pollcy on reserves: We hold cash reserves to ensure the Charities activities are sustsinable and thatwe can respond toan urgent need for funds if there is a need to do so.
