|Summary of the main<br>activities in relation to those<br>purposes for the public<br>benefit, in particular, the<br>activities, projects or<br>services identified in the<br>accounts.|Para 1.17 and<br>1.19|Binti’s Impact<br>Binti has carried out a wide range of<br>impactful initiatives, supporting<br>communities in the UK and The Gambia.<br>Despite challenges with volunteer<br>recruitment post-COVID and the ongoing<br>cost-of-living crisis, our work continues to<br>create meaningful change.<br>Period Dignity in The Gambia<br><br>Conducted menstrual education at<br>the International British School and<br>delivered a menstrual health and<br>FGM workshop to MSC in Banjul.<br><br>Launched our library in<br>JokaduDarsilami, with Deputy High<br>Commissioner Martin Norman<br>officiating. This project included<br>revamping a classroom, building<br>library shelves, and providing books<br>worth £25,000 in partnership with<br>local organizations. The library<br>serves over 100,000 people.<br><br>Held menstrual health workshops<br>for children and community<br>members.<br><br>Partnered with Africell to promote<br>awareness through local signage in<br>Darsilami.<br><br>Met with the First Lady and the<br>Minister of Basic and Secondary<br>Education to strengthen<br>collaborations, including recruiting a<br>librarian for the library.<br><br>Hosted a vibrant Period Dignity<br>fashion show with Rozo Designs,<br>which depicted period blood to<br>shatter stigma. The event, hosted by<br>British High Commissioner David<br>Belgrove, was attended by diplomats<br>and locals.<br><br>Secured funding from the Foreign<br>and Development Office to train<br>almost 400 teachers across regions<br>2-6 on menstrual education.<br><br>Delivered the second phase of<br>menstrual education, incorporating|
