-
Annual income (not including the JEMT grant in 2023) has grown since Covid, but not reached pre-Covid levels.
-
The balance that has built up is due partly to decreased expenditure during Covid and the period when there was no paid priest, together with some specific one-off donations.
-
St Andrew’s UK Charity makes regular stewardship straightforward.
-
Regular donations can be made by standing order by anyone with a UK bank account.
-
Those who pay UK tax can also Gift Aid their donations.
-
Gift Aid applications were made in 2024, where appropriate, at the designated times
-
The Trustees continue to work to make church members aware of the importance of stewardship.
-
The Trustees have looked into transferring some of the funds held in this account into a higher interest account, but decided that the complexities of doing so make this unviable.
-
We do not currently hold reserves or investments
