sadly she died after a short illness. Gloria was a sound trustee acting as our secretary for a number
of y8ars. She was a Warden, faithfull and loving member of St Andrew's Church and is sadly
missed. Amanda Warrender took on the role of secretary as well as shadowing John W-G with Gift
Aid work during 2022 Our treasurer Shane Bames prepared the accounts for 2022 and during this
period he also church treasurer until he resigned in April 2023. David Wlde and Linda Smith,
both long standing church members, joined the trustees dunng 2022. This retumed the number of
trustees to six, as defined in our constitution.

The number of year-round ex-patriate pernanent residents in St Andrew's Kyrenia congregatlon
continues to diminish with regular visitors, tourists and students becoming a welcome and growing
part of our congregation. Those who come and go are often referred to as Swallows. The North
Cyprus banking system still does not fa￿litate Standing Orders. The Charity and Church appreciates
the regular monthly stewardship with donors setting up Standing Orders from their UK banks directly
to the Charity Unty Bank account in UK, most wth Gift Aid dedaratKJns. We very much appreciale
the seasonal vistiors setting up standing orders as they too then become year round regular
stewards of St Andrew.
