has 2 frontline Navlgators who w(vk directiy wlth beneficlaries to help them engage with services
and got the support they want and nead. Our navigators provide thelr expertlse In provldlng
culturally specific support ig local people from mlnorltlzed éthnl¢ backgrounds.

Therapeutic Support for Chlldren and Young People
Violence Reductlon Partnership entalling of weekly In4chool dropln 5e55lons provldlng emotional
5UPPOrt and eafiy interventlon for students across Nottinghamshire. We tske a publlc health
approach through our counselling supporL th8t focu5es on the wholè person and their potential for
growth. Our eounsellors create a safe and suppertive envrronment so Ihat they can Identify,
understsnd and overcome 8 r8nge of IssLses. As part of thls prolecL we have set up partnershlps
wlth several education provlders in and aiound Nottlnghamlshlre. Our specialist counsellors attend
these schools on a weekly basis where young pèoplè can attend regular counselling sessions. We
h8ve seen firnlhfynd the b•nefits for young people when they Bre given 8 $Jfe space to offload and
understand thoir Èmotlons. they are feellngs and we have recelved great feedback to support th15.
Imams Leedlng for Change
We almed to tackle domestlc vlolence and eoerclve control In Musllm communltlas through the
support of Imam5 and their intlueftce on the communty. For this purpose. we created training
packs, case studles, and encouraged the Imoms to come together to develop sermon content.
Workshops were 81$0 dellvered, prompiing dlfflcun Community dlscusslons ar.d also ine5tèd
reslstsnce. However, our workshops acted as ¥ space to emphasise the naturo of domestic
vlolence 8$ a 'hldden harrn, In the communty.
