## Activities

**Objects:** 1. To promote and protect the physical and mental health of individuals from Black, Asian, Ethnic Minority, Refugee, Asylum-Seeking, and other emerging communities who are experiencing social and economic disadvantage.This will be achieved by:? (a) Providing access to therapeutic support, including counselling and treat-ment services;? (b) Delivering culturally appropriate mental health interventions;? (c) Offering diversionary activities and support programmes for young people at risk.2. To advance education and improve cultural competence among professionals and organisations by providing culturally specific training to enhance understanding and service delivery across education, health, voluntary, and statutory sectors.3. To promote educational equity for diverse communities by conducting research, raising public awareness, and advocating for increased investment in inclusive edu-cational resources and services, for the public benefit.4. To relieve poverty and support individuals and communities facing multiple disad-vantages by providing access to essential resources, guidance, and support services aimed at improving quality of life and promoting social inclusion.5. To advance the education of adults and young people through the provision of learning opportunities, including workshops, accredited courses, and public talks, as determined by the charity trustees.

**Activities:** Al Hurraya is a peer-led culturally specific charity that provides bespoke personalised and culturally sensitive interventions to meet the needs of ethnically diverse communities in and around Nottingham and Derby who are experiencing a range of challenges
