**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN DEPRIVED AREAS IN THE NORTH EAST OF ENGLAND BY PROVIDING THE PROVISION OF SERVICES TO SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF INDIVIDUALS' CAPABILITIES, COMPETENCES, UNDERSTANDING AND SKILLS THROUGH SCHOOL AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES.

**Activities:** We run Learning Hubs, Youth Clubs and Summer Schools in less affluent areas of Tyne and Wear to tackle educational inequality. We offer access to the internet, learning resources, a tutor and extra-curricular activities in a safe environment. Our motto is Young People Learning from Each Other. Our peer tutors, befrienders, summer school and club leaders are all trained volunteers.
