REVIEW OF ACTivrriES
YEAR ENDED 315T AUGUST 2025
The principal activity of the charitable incorporated organisation ICIOI during the year was that of a
Christian Chu rch, fellowship together, acts of worshipi preachingi te3ching• prayer, service to the
poor and service to the community as well as support of other organisation5 working withi n Tiverton
and further afield.
Gatherln8S
Our Chu rch meetings are held at Wilcom be Primary School for regular services of prayer, worship,
teaching and m inistry. Age specific groups are avallable f or babies, pre-schoolers, primary and
teenagers. Small groups meet mid-week in homes for worship, prayer, teaching and personal
encouragerrent.
In 2025, youth groups f rom the Church attended Spree, Dreaming the Impossible and Creationfest
summer festivals. These are times of fun and relax8tian combined with Christian teaching and
worship.
Events were also arranged which benefited the town of Tiverton such as a town wlde Easter treasure
trail, distributing Christmas gifts for those in need and family.fun days which were free to attend,
known as Funday Sundays.
Outreach
The Church continues to SUPPOrt Christian ministries in Tiverton, nationally and internationallv,
We co-organised a town wide mi55i0n with a group of South Koreans which we called the'Arise
M i55ion' We joined with 7 other ch urches in Tiverton to host 6 South Koreans f or a week of prayer,
m is5ion and fellowship. This was well attended, deepened relationships between Churches and gave
all involved a n appreciation f or the cultural exchange,
We continue to partner with CHAT, local agencies and other Churches to run Breakfast on the Go
and Lunch on the Go. We provide two hot meals every Friday for anyone who attends our site at
Sunningrnead Community Centre. This was at the request of Mid-Devon Council to help mitigate the
effects offood poverty in Tiverton and has continued since spring 2021. We Serve approx. 190
people per week.
The Church financially supports CHAT and Street Pastors in Tiverton and Home For Good natlonally.
Home for Good has a bold vision to fi nd a home for every child who needs one i n the Ul( through
fostering, adoption and supported lodgings for teenager5. Alongside this the Church sponsors a child
through Compassion UK.

The Church donates 5Yo of our a nnual Income to Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland IVCUKII to support
national training and leadershi p. We'll continue to monitor our level of f inanclal giving as we aim to
give a minimum of IO% to ca uses outside of our local church.
We have seen deflclts In the last two years,, the current year's budget ha5 been set to report a smal I
surplus/breakeven.
People
Throughout the ye8 r, there were regular opportunitles for our employed a nd volunteer staff to be
equipped and trained in their roles, These ranged f rom safeguarding tra ining, prayer m ini5trv
tralning and Sunday set-up team refresher tra ining,
Our leaders attended the Vineyard Churches UK&I IVCU Kll Vineyard Leaders Gathering In
Nottingham. VCUKI are the organlsatlon which all Vl neyard Churches, including Tiverton Vi neyard,
are members of.
To celebrate the dedication and hard work of the volunteers at Tiverton Vineyard, a Volunteer
Celebration took place whereby 311 of our vol unteer teams were invited out for a Sunday lunch at a
local hotel,
The level of sustained and committed volunteering is well worth recognising. A conservative
estimate of between 3,000 and 4,000 hour5 15 what allows Tiverton Vineyard to have a year round
impart on its locality. This equates to 2 full time employees and Is evidence of a motivated and
attive congregation.
Future
In 2025126, we plan to build on the good relations we have with other Churches in Tiverton. This will
include continuing to participate i n the 'LSfePath' project, a much loved and hugely interactive day
for 300 year 4 pupils in town. We'll also support town-wide prayer meetings and continue to lead
and support the U nited Services which tal<e place once per term lon any 5th Sunday)
We anticipate seeing an impact following our theme for the year of 'Love Your Nelghbour,. Initiatives
such as'welcome Sundays, and relaunching our annual pub quiz are part of the theme of inviting
others into our church Ilfe.
We will also look to fu rther strengthen and grow the teams of the existing projetts. In doing 50, we
wlll better support Tiverton by showing God's love in practical ways which is in accorda nce with our
vision statement of 'playlng our part in seeing Tiverton thrive by helplng people seo that Jesus Christ
is real and relevant,.
