Section D Achievements and performance

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**

This year was the first year of hosting the events at the newly opened Saddleworth School. The Trustees would like to thank the staff of the school who helped to make the events a huge success despite some inevitable teething problems. After the financial loss reported last year it was decided to amend the funding model to an entirely donation led income stream together with an A4 brochure for sponsors to advertise in. This change resulted in an increase in income to £21,978.

Whilst costs went up accordingly (to £16,270), the overall result in the year was a gain of £5,707 which offset the loss made last year of £3,368.

As such the charity should remain self-funding for at least another two years.
