In planning the crafting activities and requirement of seniors, the trustees keep in mind the charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit at our trustee and planning meetings. Due to funding and Lisa Powis external commitment, the monthly craft groups continue quarterly. All of the members are pleased that the group continues. The main activities include hosting a quarterly craft group at Whiteley Village. This promotes new skills, confidence and helps alleviate loneliness. The charity is continuing to deliver craft care packs and this has reduced to annually subject to funding. The craft packs include activities and are delivered to the charity partners. The ongoing contact and crafting to occupy the seniors time, forms a big part of the senior’s life. The charity has received numerous letters of grateful thanks. The charity continues to flourish and is pleased that it continues at Whiteley Village. The charity is viable and is an important resource for the community. |
