**Objects:** THE SOCIETYÆS OBJECTS ARE TO ADVANCE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION IN, AND APPRECIATION OF, THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC IN ALL ITS ASPECTS BY ANY MEANS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT, INCLUDING THROUGH THE PRESENTATION OF PUBLIC CONCERTS, RECITALS AND ORGANISING WORKSHOPS.

**Activities:** The Marchington Singers is an amateur mixed voice choir, of all ages and abilities, based in Staffordshire.  It performs three concerts a year in the Staffordshire/Derbyshire area and, by invitation, sings at weddings and fund raising events.  It has a Student Bursary Scheme for singers up to 25 years, to encourage young singers to both sing in the choir and perform solo parts in our concerts.
