**Objects:** 1.TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE AGED BETWEEN 4-30 IN CAMBRIDGE AND THE SURROUNDING AREA IN THE OPERATIC ARTS THROUGH GIVING THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPERIENCE ALL THE ELEMENTS THAT GO INTO STAGING AN OPERA;2.TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES, SO AS TO DEVELOP THEIR CAPABILITIES THAT THEY MAY GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY.

**Activities:** CYO works with young people to create age appropriate productions to the highest standard, covering a full range of performance and production activities. Many young people who take part have never experienced opera before. We cultivate the arts as a natural part of daily life, and grow the confidence of our participants. We are an open access organisation. We do not charge for participation.
