Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document
To relieve the financial needs of individuals and families affected by the death of a young person, in particular but not exclusively between ages 16 - 24, by the provision of grants towards funeral costs, who are resident in south Yorkshire and the surrounding areas according to the laws of England and wales as the trustees shall from time to time determine.

Summary of the main Dan’s Helping Hand’s main objective is to provide financial assistance for activities undertaken for the funeral costs to families of young adults who have died, primarily as a public benefit in relation to result of a terminal illness, such as cancer.
