for the year ended 30 Novemter 2025.
Objects and activities
Policies and objectives
The objectrves of the charity are:
a) To advance education for public benefit by piOn￿l￿g the education {including
S(Kial and physical Irainingl of people of any age in any part of the world in such
ways as the charity trustees think frt, including by awaiding to such persons
scholarships, Maintenan￿ allowances or grants or assisting any charty or not-
for-profrt organisation whose aims include advancing edu¢ation of persons of any
age by developing their mental, physical and moral capabilities-,
b) To prevent or relieve rM)vety for the publ￿ benefft by providing grarrts, ilems and
services to individuals in need or to chartbes or other or9anis*ions anywhere in
the wodd who provide or assist in the provision of education, training and
healthcare projects designed to relieve ￿verty'.

consideration to general guidance published by the Chartty Commission relating lo

The chartty has made two donalions to charities during the year. one related to
can￿r and the other to sight.

Achievements and performance
a. Main achièvernents of the charity
Apart from the two donations Mention￿ atrKJve the Trusl*s continue to Ic¥)k for
opportunities to make worthwhile don*ions and grnnts.
b. Review of actlvities
Other than the donations rwrtioned this has been a quiet year for the charity.
Investment policy and perfomiance
The endowment fund now consists of investmenls managed by Rothchild and an
interest in a property investment company. The Trustees are content with the return
on the investments. The retum on the Rothchild investments is an overall retum and
the trustees, following discussions with the investment managers, have agreed thal
up to 2.5¥0 of the opening endowment fund value can be treated as unrestricted funds
available for use by the chanty to fulfil tts aims. No transfer has b￿n made from the
Endowment Fund to the Unrestricted Fund in the current year as there are still funds
available for the charity's purt¥)ses in the U￿restr￿ed Fund.
Financial review
a. Going concern
After making appropriate enquiries. the Trustees have a reasonable expectation that
the Charity has adequate resources to conlinue in operational existence for the
foreseeable future. For this reason. they continue lo adopt the going concem basis in
preparing the financial statements. Further details regarding Ihe adoption of the
going concern basis Can be found in the accountrng ￿1￿les.
b. Reserves policy
The Trust*s have taken a caubous approach in the early years ofthe charity to
permit it to grow it's unrestricted reserves wtth which they can, going forward. provide
more meaningful assista￿ to individuals and other charities.

a. Constitution
The Clemens Neumann Nathan Charitable Trust is a registered charity, number

b. Methods of appointment or glection of Trustees
The management of the Charty is the resFonsibilty of the Trustees who are elected
and Coknopled under the terms of the MenK)randum and Artides ofAssociation.
c. Related party relationships
All Trustees give their time freety and no trustee is remuneraled nor have any
expenses been reimbursed, as set OLrt in note 6 to the financial statements. Trustees
are required to disclose all relevant interests in accordance wrth the Trust's policy
and withdraw form dis¢ussions where a conflict of interest arises.
d. Financial risk management
The Trustees have assessed the major risks to which the Charty is exposed, in
particular those related to the operations and finances of the Charity and are satisfied
that systems and prctedures are in pl&e to mitsgate exposu￿ to major risks.

in accordance with appluble law and Ur¢ited Kingdom Accounting Standards (United

statements for each financial year which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the
Charity and of its incoming resources and application of resources, including its income and
expenditure, that year. In preparing these finan¢id statements, the trustees are required

The Trustees are reswnsible for keeping adequate accounting records that are sufficient to
show and explain the Charty's transaclFons and disclose with reasonable accuracy at any
time the finanaal posrtion of the Chartty and enable them to ensure that the financial
statements compty wtth the Charities Act 2011, the Chairty IAccounts and Retx¢rtsl
Regulations 2008 and the provisions of the Charty Incorporated Organisation. They are also
sponsible for the Pfevention and detection of fraud and other irregularilies.

General inforniation
The charity was fornw by the Charity Commission as a Charttable IncorF)orated
Organisalion registered in England and Wales. The charity's registered office is
the 2nd FlcK)r, 168 Shoreditch High Street. London, E16RA.
The main aim of the charrty is lo provide assistan￿ in the education of people in
respect of the Human Rights Convention as well as providing grants to alleviate
heath issues.
Accounting policies
11 Basis of prèparation of financial statements
The financial stslements have been prepared in accordance with the
Charities SORP {FRS 102)-Accounting and ReKXlrting by Chartties..
Statement of RecomnEnded practi￿ applicable to charits.es preparing their
accounls in accordance with the Financial ReF)orting Standard applicable in
the UK and Republic of Ireland {FRS 102) leffective 1 January 20191, the
Financial ReF)Orting Slandard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland
(FRS 102) and the Charibes 2011.
The financial statements have been prepared to gwe a Iwe and fair, view
and have departed from the Charrties (Accounts and Reports) Regulations
2008 onty lo the extent required to provide a 'twe and fair, View. This
departure has involved following the Chartties SORP (FRS 1021 published in
October 2019 rather than the Accounting and Rewrting by Chartties..
Stalement of Recommended Practice effectNe from 1 April 2005 which has

public benefft entty under FRS 102. Assets and liabilities are initial
recognised al histori¢xl cost or transaction value unless othenuise stated in
the relevant accounting pKfylry.
2.2 Income
All income is rwnised once the Charity has entitlement lo the income, it is
probable that the income will be receÉved. and the amount of income
receivable can be measured relkabty.
Ir￿OMe tax ￿erable on either donalrons re￿iVed under gift aid or from
investment income is recognised at the time the donation or investment
income ts received.

2.3 Expendituro
Expenditure is recognised once there is a legal or ￿nstructive obligation to
transfer economic benefft to a third paty. 11 is probable that a transfer of
economic beneffts will be required in settlement and the amount of the
obligation can be measured reliably. Expenditure is classified by activty. The
costs of each activty are made up of Ihe total of direct and shared costs,
including support costs involved in undertaking each activty. Direct costs
attributable to a singular &tivity a￿ allocated directty to that activity. Shared
cosls which contribute to rr#xe than one activity and support costs which are
not attributable to a single a¢ti¥ty are aprortioned between those activities
on a basis consistent with the use of resources.
Expenditure on ch8ritable activities incurred directty on undertaking the
activitl8s which further the Charity's ot4'ectives, as well as any a￿lated
support costs.
Grants payable are charged in the year when the offer is made ex￿pt in
those cases where the offer is condrtional. such grants ￿Ing recognised a$
exFendilure when the conditions attaching are fulfilled. Grants offered
subject to condrtions which have not been met at the year end are noted as
cornmitment, bLrt not accrued as expendrIU￿.
2.4 Invgslments
Fixed asset investments are a form of financial InStru￿￿nI and are initially
recognised al their tranSact￿n cost and subsequently measured al fair value
al the Balance sheet dale, unless the value cannot be measured reliably in
which ease it 1$ measured at cost less impai￿nent. Investment gains and
losses, whether realised or unrealised, are combined and presented as
'Gainsl{losses) on inVestff￿nts, in the Ststement of financial activits'es.
2.5 Cash at bank
Cash at bank includes ￿sh and short lenn highty liquid investments with
short maturty ofthree mnths or less.
2.6 Financial instruments
The Charity On￿ h8$ financial assets and liabilities of a kind Ihal qualify as
basic financial inslrumenls. Basic financial instruments are inllially
recognised al transaction value and subsequentty r￿Sured at their
settlement value.
