The charity helps save lives by SUPFrfxUng ts ongcing re￿1¢h into breast tancer. and contributing to thè
further undgrstanding of the disease w6venlion. dwnosts and treatment by supporting ground breaking
research programmes.

Coronavirus is an ongoing ￿tuatIon affecting everyone Ind￿JIng businesses and Charrttes. 8CRA have also
begn affect8d, reduong face to fac* colleclion of donations. However, word of moLth.th8 inl8m8t. soclal
m8(li8 elc hav6 helped Charlty 800 an Incyoose in don81icTh since the firsl lock down, whlch h88 tsken all
th6 Trustees by surpris8.
The Trusle8s are workirvJ h8r(1 to promote the Chadty and wai8é m￿t be given to tham as wa know physical
contsct has been drfficutt espeually at the stsrt of thls year.
The Charity continu8 to help wilh r8search into Ix9asl cancer and have been lucky erK)ugh to pass on larger
donations to the various causes we support, whkh has helped In tria￿ of medlcalion used for Ir8aling cortain
types of breast cancer. COV￿ 19 hasn't allowed the Tnjstees to physically see their work this year but the
power of th8 intem8t has allowed access wa Zoom to see the benefits from the donabons.

As Covid 19 continues. I fmse8 the r￿xI 12 rnnths bèing on8 of stsbilisation as a tharity INJt with an
Sncrease In awareness from the gene￿1 putAic. mainly from tho use of the inlem81. as more p8ople work and
shop from home rather than attend events.
Due to the increase in correspondence the Charty now gets and bringing tcoether it1eas on raisiNJ donations,
being volunteers has its ch811enges and so going I￿ard. l am delyhted to have been asked and ac￿p1 the
role of part lime Chief Executive Officer for the Charity. so allowing a face and contact for the Charity along
with all th8 involvemerts and ro￿ this p*Jsition expeds. This 18aves a vacancy for Chairporson which
Marfena Tercjak has accepted and leaves a Tntsl8e va￿nCY whith we hope to ffill before Christmas.
The next 12 months I hope wll be one wheffj Chanty t*n benefit more from u88 of the intemet whilst
Iwking into olher ways. fa￿ to ￿ or othws. so the hard work getting the Chanty to where tt is now. doesn't
(fvindle.
