|Summary of the main<br>activities in relation to those<br>purposes for the public<br>benefit, in particular, the<br>activities, projects or services<br>identified in the accounts.|Para 1.17 and<br>1.19|By the generosity of its donors, HELP Dadaab<br>provided one hundred and ninety five Diploma<br>courses for students in Dadaab refugee camp .<br>We ensured that the recipients were diverse in<br>terms of gender, ethnicity and nationality. The<br>Diploma courses were purchased from<br>Cambridge International College The distance<br>learning courses are provided by Cambridge<br>International College (CIC) whose qualifications<br>are recognised worldwide. We have established<br>a close relationship with CIC and work with them<br>to support the students with their courses and<br>their examinations.<br>91 students from the 2021 intake gained awards<br>(although 12 received a fail grade and there<br>were a number of Papers which were not sat -<br>absentees - or graded).<br>As well as our work in the refugee camps, we've<br>been assisting ten schools in the Dadaab area.<br>We have funded teacher’s salaries and provided<br>textbooks and learning materials.<br>This year we continued to fund a Kenyan youth<br>to continue his education and attend High<br>School.|





|||We also sponsored 75 students to attend<br>Integrated High School. Of these, 50 were<br>refugees and 25 were Kenyan nationals.<br>We purchased text books in Nairobi and<br>donated them to five schools in Dadaab area.<br>The charities founder, Abdi Khalif, travelled to<br>Kenya in the summer to invigilate the student’s<br>exams and to meet UNHCR and camp elders and<br>local government officials to explain our work<br>and to understand the requirements of the<br>communities.<br>In partnership with the charity Angels Welfare<br>Trust, we distributed food to 300 families in<br>Dadaab refugee camps and to the local host<br>communities.|
