Structure and Organisation
The charit8bEe (￿ganISa￿On VMS set up on g May 1982 with excepted charitable status
under a model trust deed dated 16 Febnjary 1953 and be(2me a Charitable Incorporated
Organisation on 14 April 2018.
Trustee Appointments
The Pastor of the church is ex-offtK) the chairperson of the Board of Truslees and their
position is reviewed tsvo years after appointment and then every four years after that.
The remaning Tnjstees are appointa annual￿ by the members of Penycae
NeIghbOurt￿ Church of The Nazarene at the annual general meeting hekl in February
each year
Governance and Wider Network
The Board of Trustees meets regularty, rKffMaI￿ on a monthly basis to consider the work
and m8nagemenl ofthe churth and assess and plan the financial and other agpects of the
work and direction of the tharity.
The church is a member of the Church of The Naza￿ne Brrtish Isles South DiStr￿t (a
Ch8ritable Company Limited by Guarantee) who in tum is a member of The 1ntemakn.onal
Church of The Nazarene Inc which has headquarters in Lenexa, Kansas. USA.
The charity, and the wder network rt is a member of, are all govemed by the Manual oflhe
International ChurGh of The Nazarene Inc which is subject to amendmenl on a quadrennk?I
basis at the General Assembty of The Intemational Church of The Nazarene Inc. The last
General Assembly look place in June 2023. The next General Assembty will take place in
June 2027.
Risk Management
The risk managemerrt strategy of the church is in a cnntinual process of fomiulation in
reswnse to the changing circumstances that could impact upon the work of the church.

The Trustees have had due regard to the Charity Commission guidance on publ￿ benefit
reporting in deciding vA)at *tvitres the chaiity should undertake. This report illustrates the
actiVEt￿ undertaken to sjpport the publ￿ bet￿ requirement.
Review of the Year
The aims for Ihe year included..
c￿tInUation of weekty Christian ￿￿tshIP meetings and promotion of the ChristK8n
failh in accordan￿ wtth the prinGiples of the Chur¢h of The Nazarene.
Work with children and young people to promote the Chri8tlan f8ith and provide
local social benefft.
Weekty meetings continued for the MO￿ mature individuals in the Pertywarea.
Continue to support Wrexham Outreach in their work with the homeless and
providing evening meals on a rota basis {once to Iw1￿ a monthl
Continuing to devew links ￿ryth the hxal community, to enhance the involvement
of the church with relevant bcal agencies on ￿half ofthe local communty.
Continue to partner with and make the church building available to relevant local
agencies seeking lo benefrt the local communty, suth agenC￿S include but are not
restricted to Wrexham County Borough Councll. T.C.C., earty years support
activities and local communrty forums.

from the pastoral and worship teams.

The work planned. act[Vit￿ undertaken and achievements attained would not have been
possible without the active involvement and hard work ol all the members and friends of Ihe
harity. The Board of Tmsiees is grateful for the work and supp)rt of all our volunteers in
their work for Penycae Neight)ournood Church ofThe Nazarene.
Financlal Revièw
Reserves
The chanty does not have a ￿l1¢Y on reserves as the expendrture and work of the charty
is reliant upon the on90ing support, Itlhes and offerings of the members and friends
received at the weekty meetings. The Board of Trustees revEvts on a monthly basis the
anlicipaled income and expenditure for the next two to three months in order to ensure the
ongoing Wofk of the chafity.
Financial Review of the Year
The charty has ¢onlinued throughout the Fer*)d to meet and tailor the exPend[tu￿ it incurs
to the income receNed through rent for use of the building and through the offerings and
donalions received. The trustees encourage those that can, to pay direcl to the chanty by
standing order while cash is counted by iwo trustees.
The receipts and payment account shows that there was a net decrease in cash funds
dunng the year of £901, the Icon of £5.500 to FI￿.ng Start was written off as the setting
ckised due to lack of children attending. the mortgage repaid on the manse of £3,538, gave
an overall decrease in funds of £2,447, as detsiled by the assets and Irabilities in the
financial statements. £107,681 of the unrestriGted funds are sel asKle in designated funds
ving £1.818 of general funds available as cash in hand and at the bank.

Plans for Future Porlods
The trustees are planning to start a f(KKI panty to benefit those in need in the local area.
The trustees are In consullalion regarding communty benefft grants to upgrade the central
heating system and provide fl￿ring, hot water and ffixtur8s and ffttings for a communty
focmj pantry lo be s8t up in the church buikling next year.
The trustees are hoping to expand the tM)ard of trustees.
We continue to plan forthe future through pray¢r, planning and slralegy meetings. hohyeyer
in the end we accept that we rety on our Father God to enable. ￿￿￿rage and guide us
into the future that He has plann￿.

General Fund
This is unrestrfcted funds for use to achieve aims and objectives of the charrty.
Solar Panel Fund
This is an unreslticled fund designated to enter the monies received and expended forthe installation
of solar panels on the s(xrth facing roof of the church.
ICE Fund
This fund is monw that has been raised or sel ¥hJe to cover unexpected expenses that may arise.
Mountain Bik• Guiding FuvHI
This is an unrestricted fund designated to enter the monies rLxei¥ed and expended on the Mountain
Bike Guiding Program.
Youth & Chlldrèn Fund
This is an ￿n￿trIcted fund dwnated to enter the monies re￿iVed a￿1 expended on the youlh
programs.
Capital Fund
This is an unrestrictad fund desi9nated to hold the freehold cost of the manse and enter the monies
recewed and expended on the m(Ktgage on this fffthold.
Revaluation Reser¥e
The 50°A ofthe manse property purchased by the ¢huTch at 192 Ffordd Llanerch was revalued in line
with the market value of the ftjrther 50°/o of the propety receNed from the Church of The Nazarene
British Isles South DistTIGt and the loss all(YAled to Ihis reser¥e.

Tru$to¢ Rgmuneration & Expense8
During the year Tracey Day. the Pastor, was paMI remuneration of £13.200 (2024 £12.8001, and
pension contributions of £660 (2024 £630). The Pastor and Trustees received £1,982 in reimbursed
expenses durtng the year (2024 £708).
Unrestricted donations {lithes & offerwus) from trustees Of£6.1￿ (2024 £2.610) were ￿CeiVed during
the year.
